Description

Twytten House is a 17th-century building situated on The Street in Wilmington. Originally listed as Twitten House, it is two storeys high with a three-window façade. The front elevation is stuccoed and features incised detailing to resemble masonry, while the side is tile-hung. The building has a coved eaves cornice and a hipped tiled roof. Casement windows are present. A doorway is topped by a flat hood supported by brackets. A brick chimney breast is visible on the south wall. An original 17th-century iron railing defines the forecourt.
