Description

This is a seat located next to the east pylon on London Road in Brighton, built in 1928 by John Leopold Denman. The seat is made of stone and has a segmental shape, designed to embrace but not touch the east end of the pylon. It features a moulded seat with a stepped back that rises to about 1 meter high, supported by squat columns with a stepped profile.
