Description

This is a seat located next to the west pylon on London Road in Brighton. It was originally built in 1928 and was rebuilt in 1992 by John Leopold Denman. The seat is made of stone and has a segmental shape, designed to embrace but not touch the west end of the pylon. It features a moulded seat with a stepped back that is about 1 meter high, supported by squat columns that have a stepped profile.
