Description

Cobbe Place is part of a larger building, with the remainder demolished around 1820. It is a timber-framed structure from the 17th century or earlier, which was restored and refaced around 1840. The building has a half-H shape and consists of two storeys with five windows. The front is stuccoed and features a slate roof and casement windows. The wings have jettied gables adorned with pendants and finials, and there are bay windows on both floors beneath the gables. The central portion has a castellated parapet, while the side walls are faced with flints.
