Description

Dawes Farmhouse is a house that dates back to the 16th century or earlier. It features a timber-framed structure, with the timbering visible at the east end, while the rest of the building has been refaced with stone. The ends of the house were previously jettied. There is a shallow projecting porch that is two storeys high, which includes a four-centre headed doorway. The roof is tiled, and there are casement windows, some of which have stone mullions and drip-stones above them. The house has two storeys and five windows in total. Inside, there is a staircase from the 17th century.
