Description

Rectory Cottage is an L-shaped house, with the south wing likely dating from the 17th century. It is constructed of stone rubble, featuring red brick dressings and quoins. The building has a hipped tiled roof with a pentice on the east side. The south wing has casement windows, while the east wing, which is from the 18th century or early 19th century, has sash windows that still retain their glazing bars. There is a small modern addition at the north-west angle of the south wing. The cottage is two storeys tall and has three windows.
