Description
Drovers, also known at one time as Drove House, is a large, irregularly shaped house from the 18th century located on the west side of Singleton Midhurst Road. The west front features two storeys and five windows, with the three northernmost window bays being later additions. The façade is faced with rough plaster and includes a string course, cornice, and parapet. The central window bay projects slightly, and there is a porch supported by Ionic columns, leading to a doorway with a rectangular fanlight. The south front has eleven windows and seven dormers, topped by a slate roof. The eastern end of the front has been extended with a curved bay containing two windows at its easternmost point, along with a later bay added to the ground floor in the centre. The glazing bars remain intact.
