Description

Teign-e-ver Clapper Bridge is a footbridge over the North Teign River, likely built in the 19th century. It features slabs of roughly-shaped granite. The abutments, as well as the stream banks for a considerable distance on either side, are constructed from relatively large granite blocks. The bridge spans the stream with two long rectangular slabs of granite laid side by side, which are currently secured by iron bands.
