Description

The curtain wall to the north east of Rodborough Fort dates from 1761 and is constructed of random rock-faced rubble limestone with ashlar dressings. It forms three sides of a courtyard to the north east of the house at Rodborough Fort. The wall features a crenellated parapet and includes large square turrets as well as smaller turrets on the north east-facing section. There are also some small outbuildings on the inner side of the wall. This structure is included for group value, as it completes the folly group at Rodborough Fort.
