Description

The terrace steps and balustrades located to the east of Culver House are listed as a building of special architectural interest. The balustrades date from the late 18th century and were originally part of the Exe Bridge in Exeter, which was dismantled in 1902 and 1903. They are made of freestone and lead up to the east elevation of Culver House. The balusters are pear-shaped, featuring stone newels and handrails.
