Description

This is a chest tomb from the mid to late 18th century, located about 2 meters southeast of the Coates tomb, south of the nave of the Church of St. Mary. It is made of ashlar and features fielded square side panels, which are flanked by strips decorated with floral drops on the north side and drapery on the south. The tomb has baluster corners, a moulded base, and a capstone.
