Description

Thatchers is a cottage dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It features rubble walls and a half-hipped, thatched roof, with a brick stack on the right side. The building is two storeys high and has a three-window range, with two-light casements that include horizontal glazing bars. There is a single-storey thatched extension on the right and a largely glazed extension from the 20th century on the left. The cottage likely began as a roadside encroachment.
