Nos 36 and 38 on Gurnick Street are mid to late 19th-century buildings constructed from coursed granite with a slate roof and wide eaves. They are two storeys tall and feature three sash windows that do not have glazing bars. At the centre of the buildings, there are two doorways, each with a rectangular fanlight above.
