Description

The Parish Church of St Peter is a Grade I listed building located on Church Lane in Ardingly. The church features a chancel with a vestry to the north, a nave with aisles, a south porch, and a west tower. The chancel, nave, and south aisle date back to the 14th century and were significantly restored by the architects Carpenter and Ingelow in 1887. The south porch and west tower were built in the 15th century. The north aisle and vestry were also added by Carpenter and Ingelow in 1887. The tower is particularly noted for its architectural significance, contributing to the church's Grade I designation.
