Description

The Water Tower is a late 19th-century square building located on Handcross Road in Balcombe. Originally a landmark, it is now partially obscured by trees. The structure has three storeys and features two windows on each face, made of red brick. Pilasters are positioned beside each window bay, and the windows themselves are narrow and round-headed with multiple panes, although some window spaces are blind. The entrance includes a round-headed doorway with a semi-circular fanlight above and a door composed of six moulded panels.
