Description

Great Thorndean Farmhouse, with an adjoining granary, is an L-shaped building dating from the 17th century or earlier. It features a timber frame with plaster infilling, while the north wing has been refaced with red brick on the ground floor and is tile hung above. The building has a tiled roof and casement windows, rising to two storeys with four windows in total. The granary, which is now used as garages, was added in 1837 and is faced with herring-bone brickwork.
