Description

This is an L-shaped house, originally Freshfield Farm. It incorporates a north wing dating from the 17th century or earlier, which is timber-framed with red brick infilling. The wing has gable ends to the east and west, featuring moulded bargeboards and attic windows, all topped by a tiled roof. Casement windows are set on both floors, with three windows visible on the front elevation. A later wing, constructed of red brick with grey headers, was added at a right angle to the south.
