Description

The former Village School, now disused, was built in 1878 and designed by Sir Arthur Blomfield. It is a one-storey building with seven windows, constructed of red brick with a tiled roof. The windows are casement type. At the north end, a projection features two gabled sections covered in tiles. The larger gable has a two-tier, four-light window with stone mullions and transoms. To the south, another projection has a large gable with elaborate timbering and a three-tier, four-light window. A pointed stone doorway is located to the north of this projection, surmounted by a bell turret and spire.
