Description

The Black Horse Inn and Black Horse Cottages (Numbers 1 and 2) are located in Nuthurst at Harriots Hill. The cottages date from the 17th century or earlier and feature a timber-framed structure with plaster infilling. The ground floor has been rebuilt in red brick with grey headers, and the building has a tiled roof and casement windows. It is two storeys high with three windows. The inn has a facade from the late 17th century or early 18th century, although it may have older elements behind this facade. The inn is also two storeys high and has four windows, constructed from red brick with grey headers and topped with a tiled roof, featuring casement windows.
