Description

Ashington House is a house dating from around 1830, located on London Road in Ashington. The building is almost square in shape, with a service wing extending from the rear. It has two storeys and features three windows on both the south and east elevations. The exterior is finished in stucco, with a cornice and blocking course, and it has a slate roof. The glazing bars are intact. The south front includes three bays on the ground floor, while the east front features a porch supported by twin columns, a pediment, and round-headed windows on either side. The service wing also has three windows facing east.
