Description

Lavender Cottage is a 16th to 17th century timber-framed house located on the west side of Church Street in Rudgwick. The timber framing is exposed on the west wall, while the rest of the building has been refronted with painted brick. It features a modillion eaves cornice and a tiled roof. Gables have been added to the first-floor windows, and there is a modern porch at the entrance. The cottage has a chimney breast on the north wall and is two storeys high with two windows.
