Description

Martins Cottage is likely the result of two original cottages. The northern section is a 17th century or earlier timber-framed building with plaster infilling and curved braces on the first floor, while the ground floor has been rebuilt in painted brick. The southern section is probably from the 18th century and is also made of painted brick. It features a brick eaves cornice with cogging, a tiled roof, and casement windows throughout. The cottage is two storeys high and has four windows.
