Description

Mead House is a building located on Clay Lane, marked on maps as Westmead Farm. It features two parallel ranges and has a higher front than the nearby Applegarth. The front range dates from the late 18th century to the early 19th century and is topped with red tiled roofs. It has a small dentilled eaves cornice and is constructed from painted brick. The building includes sash windows set in shallow reveals with flat arches, featuring painted brick voussoirs, although the glazing bars are missing. The entrance door is topped with a rectangular fanlight and also has painted brick voussoirs.
