Description

Earnley Windmill is the remains of a smock windmill, which is no longer in use. Its date is unknown, but it is believed to have been built between 1799 and 1803. The ground floor is constructed of tarred brick, while the upper part features tarred weather-boarding. The windmill has a modern cap, and both the sweeps and the fantail are missing.
