Description

The Foresters Arms Inn is a public house that was formerly a forge. It is a double L-shaped building. The central part dates from the 17th century or earlier and features a timber-framed structure with painted brick infilling and tile-hanging on the first floor. The two wings are additions from the 18th century or later. The building has a tiled roof and casement windows, and it stands two storeys high with a total of six windows. The garage section at the west end was likely the original forge.
