Description

This is a farmhouse, now divided into two separate dwellings. It dates back to the 17th century, with an addition built in the 18th century on the left side. The original structure is timber-framed with 19th-century brick infill. The roof is thatched, and there are brick stacks – one at the left end and another on the right side, towards the centre. The farmhouse likely began as a three-room design with a central entrance.

It is a single-story building with an attic, and has a four-window front. A 20th-century part-glazed door is located to the right of the centre. The ground floor features 20-pane sash windows with 19th-century wooden hoods above them. To the left of the centre is a two-light mullion window with a matching wooden hood. Further to the left is a 16-pane sash window also with a 19th-century hood. A small, two-light wooden casement window sits under the eaves on the left side, alongside a more recent 20th-century plate-glass window in the same position on the right. Dormers, also dating to the 19th century, have two-light casement windows.

The dwelling on the left retains areas of exposed timber framing. The interior of the other dwelling was not inspected.
