Description
Nos 1 to 3 on Longwall Street are a late 17th-century building, appearing as one structure. The first two properties, Nos 1 and 2, feature three stories with roughcast timber framing and an overhang at the first floor, along with two attic windows set in a large gable. They have cellars and a Welsh slate roof, with a modern red brick central stack. The south elevation includes a gabled attic dormer and 18th-century sash windows in flush wood frames, with shutters on the ground floor. Nos 2 and 3 also have three stories, and their doorways are framed with 19th-century reeded details, accompanied by modern red brick stacks. This group of buildings, which includes Nos 1 to 14, is noted for its collective historical significance.
