Description

Vargas House is a late 18th to early 19th century building located on Farrier Street. It is a two-storey building with a basement, and is rendered with a pebble dash finish. A parapet tops the building. It has two sash windows. The lower floor sashes retain their original glazing bars and have cambered heads. The right-hand doorcase features a pediment and a moulded architrave, leading to a six-panelled door, with the two upper panels cut away and glazed. There are two steps leading up to the doorway from the street. Vargas House is part of a group of buildings numbered 9 to 25 (odd).
