Description
Langham Park Lodge is a 2-storey L-shaped building located on Langham Park Road in Bishopsbourne. It was rebuilt in 1727, as indicated by an inscription on the stone, and features the initials "M B 1863," referring to Matthew Bell of Bourne Park, along with a more recent plaque noting restoration work completed in 1961. The building is constructed of red brick and has a hipped tile roof. It includes two windows with three lights, segmental arches, and leaded casements on the east and north sides. The plain wooden doorway is topped with a hood supported by carved brackets, situated below the series of three datestones. At one time, this building served as the Magpie Inn.
