Description

4 to 10 Belmont Road are early 19th century cottages located on the south side of the street. Numbers 8 and 10 form a pair, while number 4 is three storeys tall, and the others are two storeys. Each cottage has one window. The buildings feature timber framing with weatherboarding. Number 4 has a slate roof with a half-hipped gable and a mansard roof, while the other cottages have tiled roofs; number 6 has a hipped roof, and numbers 8 and 10 have half-hipped roofs at the ends. Number 4 also has a 19th century bay window on the ground floor, and the glazing bars are otherwise intact. The doorways are topped with either pediments or flat roofs.
