Description

The gateway to the northeast of Brook Farmhouse is a 17th-century red brick structure that remains from the older house. It features a four-centred arch originally flanked by two columns shaped like gun shells, although the northern column has been removed. Above the arch, there is a cornice, pediment, and parapet, which are topped by three octagonal caps. Additionally, there are two buttresses on the garden side of the arch. This gateway, along with Brook Farmhouse and the barn, forms a cohesive group.
