Description

This is an early 19th-century terrace of buildings, originally comprising numbers 9 to 17, with numbers 11 and 12 historically known as the Black Horse Inn. The buildings are primarily constructed of buff brick with slate roofs, featuring dormers and stone-coped parapets. Each unit originally contained one sash window with retained glazing bars. The original design incorporated round-headed doorcases with fanlights and six-panelled doors. Numbers 11 and 12 have been altered and refaced in red brick. A modillion cornice and a cemented pub front are also present. Numbers 1B to 25 form a group.
