Description

Hawthorn Cottages, dating from the 18th century, are two-storey buildings with attics constructed of red brick. They feature a tiled roof with a gable end that has kneelers and a catslide roof at the rear, along with one dormer. The eaves are adorned with a modillion cornice and a stringcourse. There are three windows in total; two of these are casements on the ground floor, which have cambered head linings, while the central window on the first floor is modern. The cottages also have later porches added.
