Description

South Barham Farm Cottage is a building dating from the 16th century or earlier. It has two storeys, with the south wing constructed of timber framing filled with plaster and painted brick. The first floor of this wing overhangs on a bressumer supported by curved braces. The east wing, added in the 18th century, is made of red brick and features a tiled roof. The cottage has two windows, which include a mix of casements and hung sashes with glazing bars. At the time of the survey, the building was undergoing restoration.
