Description

The Watch House is a 16th century or earlier timber-framed building located on Bell Road in Smarden. It features plaster infilling and has a first floor that overhangs, supported by the protruding ends of the floor joists and brackets, which are now sloping downwards. The building has a hipped tiled roof and sprocket eaves. There are five casement windows present.
