Description

Winter's Farmhouse is a 16th century or earlier timber-framed building. The ground floor is refaced with red brick, while the upper floor is tile-hung. The first floor on the east front overhangs, supported by the protruding ends of the floor joists. The house has a hipped tiled roof and stands two storeys tall. It features four casement windows with small square leaded panes and small gables above the first floor windows. There is a porch with a shaped Dutch gable that displays the crest of the Toke family of Godinton, Great Chart, in the gable.
