Description
Kingston House is an early 19th-century building located at 53 and 53A Hyde Street. It is two storeys tall with grey brick walls and features a wide eaves cornice and a hipped slate roof. There is a raised two-course string course beneath the cornice. The ground floor has a central five-panelled door that is arched and has a radiating fanlight above it, flanked by two windows set in recessed elliptical arches. On the first floor, there are three windows with contemporary sliding shutters. The south elevation has two windows, while the north elevation features one arched staircase window. All windows are sashes with glazing bars. Kingston House is part of a group of listed buildings from No 32 to No 60.
