Description

The kilns at Hadley Dene House were built in 1867 and consist of two cone-shaped structures sitting atop a rectangular base. There are single-storey buildings on each side, with one building attached to the main house. The kilns feature red brick walls, using header bond for the cones and English bond for the straight walling. On the south side of each kiln, there are two low arched openings, while the north side has an arched doorway.
