Description
The Parish Church of St Pancras is a Grade I listed building located in Arlington. It is constructed of flint with stone dressings and features a tiled roof. The church includes a chancel with a north chapel, a nave with a north aisle, a south porch, and a west tower topped with a broached shingled spire. The nave is of Saxon origin, the north chapel is Norman, while the north aisle and tower are of transitional Norman style. The chancel is Decorated, and the south porch dates from the 19th century. The late 12th century chancel arch is notable, along with a king post roof and a Perpendicular stone front. Inside, there is a piscina and traces of medieval wall paintings.
