Description

Blackdown or Cherry Clack Windmill is a prominent landmark that was relocated to its current site in 1856 from Biddenden, Kent. This structure is an octagonal smock mill, featuring a modern red brick roundhouse that extends beyond the ruined mill building, complete with a railing around the platform. The mill itself is clad in weather-boarding and has a conical cap. Most of the sweeps and the fantail are still intact.
