Description

Old Mill House is a 15th century timber-framed building that was later converted into two cottages and is now a single house again. The timber framing remains exposed at the back, while the front has been refaced with red brick on the ground floor and tile-hanging above. The first floor of the side wall is weather-boarded. The house features a hipped tiled roof and casement windows. At the west end, there is a shed portion that is now weather-boarded but shares the same roof span, with a pentice to the west. The building has two storeys and four windows. Inside, the curved braces of the roof from the original hall are visible on the first floor.
