Description
Leeds Meade is a house built in the early 17th century, designed in a half-H plan with an original L-shaped portion. The structure features a timber frame with red brick infilling, while the ground floor has been rebuilt in brick. The first floor of the central section is tile-hung. The north-east wing has a gable that oversails on a bressumer and brackets. The roof is tiled, and there are casement windows, some of which have diamond-shaped panes. The house has two storeys and an attic in the gable, with a total of three windows. A modern wing matching the original design has been added to the north-west to complete the half-H layout.
