Description

Blackhouse Farmhouse is an L-shaped building. The west wing is a 16th century timber-framed structure with red brick infilling. The north-south wing has an 18th century exterior, faced with alternating red brick and grey headers. The ground floor of the north wall is made of ashlar. It features a dentilled eaves cornice and a hipped tiled roof. The building has casement windows and is two storeys high with three windows.
