Description

Church Gate House is a 16th-century timber-framed building, now mostly covered in tiles, with some red brick and grey headers on the ground floor. It has a stone and brick base. The first floor of the east front extends out on brackets. Below this overhang, there is a blocked doorway with a pediment that is incorporated into the overhang. Additionally, there is another doorway on the north side facing the church yard, which has a flat hood above it and a door with six fielded panels. The building features a tiled roof, casement windows, and has two storeys with two windows.
