Description

Fiddler’s Rose Cottage was originally built in 1889 as a police station, likely commissioned by the Marquess of Abergavenny as evidenced by his crest on the building. It is a two-storey building with two windows. The construction is red brick with a tiled roof. The windows are casement style and are flanked by long and short terra cotta quoins. The building features two gabled projections with similar quoins, a stringcourse decorated with terra cotta roses and gabled porches.
