Description

Cowden is a 17th century or earlier timber-framed house that has been refaced with red brick and grey headers on the ground floor, while the upper part is tile-hung. It features a tiled roof with a pentice at the back. The house has casement windows with diamond-shaped panes and an 18th century doorway that includes a flat hood supported by brackets and a tall rectangular fanlight. The building is two storeys high and has three windows.
