Windlesham Manor is an L-shaped house built around 1900, notable for being the home of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle from 1907 to 1930. It is historically significant as the place where he wrote later Sherlock Holmes stories and "The Lost World." The house has two storeys, featuring five windows and five gables on each wing. The ground floor is faced with roughcast, while the upper floor is covered with wooden shingles. It has a tiled roof and casement windows.
