Description

The Bull Inn, originally dated 1688, is a two-storey building with an attic located on the southwest side of High Street in Battle. It features four windows and four hipped dormers. The exterior is constructed of ashlar, with a stringcourse made of red brick and grey headers. A heavy wooden modillion eaves cornice with a small projection adorns the roof, which is tiled. The windows are casement style with wooden mullions, and there is a small shop window in the center of the facade. A large carriage archway is present on the ground floor towards the northwest.
