Fairview Cottage is an L-shaped house from the early 19th century, standing two storeys tall with three windows. The building is constructed of red brick with grey headers, and the first floor of the northwest wing is weather-boarded. It features a tiled roof and retains its glazing bars. There is a later addition of a porch.
