Description

The Oasthouse at Silverick's Farm is a former carthouse dating from the late 18th century and constructed in two sections. The northern part is built of red brick with some grey headers, resting on a sandstone base. It features a half-hipped tiled roof with a brick modillion eaves cornice, two small casement windows, and a wooden stable door. The southern part is primarily weatherboarded and has a hipped peg tiled roof, although the south wall is made of red brick. This section includes two small casement windows, a loading door, and two stable doors. The roof structure has staggered lutt purlins.
